\nTodd Milburn was appointed Chief of the Edina Police Department in 2021. A former Deputy Chief of the Brooklyn Park Police Department\, Milburn came to Edina after 30 years in Brooklyn Park. In 1992\, he began his career there as a community service officer\, and held various roles including patrol officer\, SWAT officer\, patrol sergeant\, public information officer and police inspector. Milburn\, a St. Paul native\, earned his degree in Organizational Management &\; Leadership from Concordia University. \;

\nFor more than 45 years\, the Edina First Responders Fund has played a vital role in supporting public safety and strengthening community partnerships. Through generous contributions\, the Fund helps enhance key Edina Police Department programs such as Neighborhood Watch\, Bike and Foot Patrol\, Junior Police\, the K-9 and Motorcycle Units\, and community-building events like Night to Unite. It also provides financial rewards that assist in solving serious crimes\, helping protect both residents and local businesses. \;
